Restaurant eVala 1903

Restaurant eVala 1903 offers the flavors of traditional Croatian cuisine with a modern twist, under the leadership of Chef Ivan Temšić. Located on the historic Matejuška, we draw inspiration from the local heritage of Split. Our beautiful location reflects the rich history of Tezje, and the year 1903 in the name of the restaurant commemorates the marriage of the famous Roko and Cicibela, who got married not far from our position.

The name of our restaurant "eVala 1903" is a combination of several important things. The word "evala" itself is an old Split word meaning "good luck, thank you, good day", while "Vala" means a sea bay.
